It’s been almost a month already since I graduated! I am beyond happy to be finished with that phase of my life. Now it’s time to focus solely on business. I’m super excited about some BIG changes for Heidi Mitchell Photography this summer! Over the next few months, you can expect:
1. A fresh, new logo
2. A brand spankin’ new blog
3. Major updates to the websites
4. Some surprise announcements (business related only. i can sense some of your minds wandering right now.)
5. Some fabulous giveaways to celebrate
Woo hoo! I’m excited. For now, here are a few photos from graduation.
I am in there somewhere. I promise.
My friend, Ashley, who helped me maintain my sanity during our commute and 6 hour long classes.
My hubby :)
My mom and dad. My dad brought me the roses in my hand :)
Two of my most favoritest people. (Yes, i know that’s not a word, but I like it.) My bff since we were 12, Stephanie, and my amazing sister-in-law, Caimbrin. So glad these girls could be with me!
Mike & I without that ugly, black gown on!
My family! Me, my husband, my parents, and my 3 younger brothers.
Last week I photographed brand new Sophia. At less than a week old, she was still itty bitty, which is perfect for a newborn session! Her mommy and daddy are friends of ours, and I was thrilled to get to take this little beauty’s photos. Sophia also has a wonderful big sister, Elena, so we *attempted* to get them both in the same image ;) Can’t wait to watch this little one grow!
Peaceful :)
She is one gorgeous little girl!
No newborn session is complete without the booty :)
Big Sister gave me about 1.5 seconds to grab this of her. LOL.
This one actually made me laugh out loud. I had to include it for everyone who asks me how I can manage to photograph babies and kiddos. You’re just not there to see the “off” moments! Ha ha. Sophia only let out a few yells from time to time. She was mostly sleeping and a perfect little model.
So sweet :)

I’ve been photographing little Chloe since she was just a bump in her momma’s belly. Melisa’s sister and niece were coming into town, so we decided to do a fun mini-session with the 4 girls. Addy and Chloe were just too cute, and I’m so glad we got to do this session with them.
So sweet!
June 6, 2009 – 8:29 pm That last image is sweet!
Just a note that I’ll be out of the office until Thursday, May 21st. I’m off to the beach for some post-graduation relaxation! I’ll return emails and phone calls next week :)
A little preview of the graduation festivities.
