Tavares Natural Light Studio Photography{Tavares Natural Light Studio Photography} First of all, Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Now onto the big news. For several years I’ve been working strictly out of my home office. That’s certainly not an ideal situation, but I tried to make it work. Recently an awesome opportunity presented itself, and I couldn’t pass it up! I’m thrilled to say that in a few short weeks, I’ll have my very own space at the gorgeous Emerald Fox in downtown Tavares. The Emerald Fox is a historic home near the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. I’ll have a small studio that can be used for newborn sessions and children’s sessions. (Also looking forward to being able to host mini sessions there!) In addition to the studio space, I’ll be able to meet with clients for wedding photography and portrait photography, and also do some portrait sessions on the grounds and around the downtown area with Los Angeles Family Photographer for collaborations as their work is amazing. This is such an exciting move for me. Instead of just finding any old place to rent for an office, I’ll be able to be a part of a community of artists working from this gem of a home. It’s a shared creative space with a full salon onsite and more. I can’t wait to see how this new space evolves. There’s so much potential here, and I’m happy to be on board. I’ll share more of my studio and the whole beautiful house as it comes along and nears time for a grand opening this spring. I hope you’ll all come by for a session and a tour once we’re up and running. Looking forward to an exciting new year!

Baby Jeremiah was born this summer, and I absolutely loved photographing this cutie. I’ve already posted some previews on Facebook and Instagram, but I wanted to finally give him a full blog post as well. I photographed his parents’ wedding a few years back, and I always love getting to stay in touch as families grow! The bright, airy house was perfect for natural light photography, and I really love how these turned out. He’s already changed so much since these were taken at only 4 days old. I hope his parents enjoy these photos for years to come! Newborn sessions are best when they are done before 14 days old, so it’s a good idea to get in touch with me while you’re still pregnant. Sessions can be done in your home or at my home studio. Can’t wait to meet her in a few weeks! This maternity session was done in a beautiful field, and I just love the natural feel it gives to the images. After so much rain here in Florida lately, we were thankful for a beautiful day and gorgeous light!

I am so lucky to have you as a photographer but even luckier to have you as a sister! Kelly & Brandon decided to do their engagement photos at Bella Collina in Montverde, Florida, and boy am I glad they did. Bella Collina is such a gorgeous place for weddings and engagement photos. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think we were in Italy for this shoot! Can’t wait for Kelly & Brandon’s Winter Garden wedding next year.
