Kari & Joel: Engagement

Finally able to  post some engagement photos for Kari & Joel! They had the unlucky opportunity of being the only people that I’ve ever had to reschedule twice because of rain. And we actually only got about 30 minutes for this session before the skies turned black. The weather did not want to cooperate with us, but we got some beautiful photos anyway!

Joel loves to play golf, and I think Kari might just come along to drive the cart sometimes ;) We thought doing their session on a golf course would be adorable, and it was. I love whenever people think outside the box and choose a theme that matches them as a couple! The results are so much fun.

Looking forward to the wedding in just a few weeks!

Love this one!

This one is kind of silly, but I love it because it’s so them. Definitely shows their personalities!

And my absolute favorite. Gorgeous.

Charleston Sneak Peeks

After four days in Charleston, West Virginia, Lincoln & I are back home. I’m happy to report that he did pretty well on the plane rides. Traveling with an infant is about as much fun as it sounds, but thankfully it’s a short flight.

While I was there, I did two family portrait sessions. Here are a few photos. I’ll do full blog posts next week.

Stephanie, David, Parker & Graham:

Lynsey, Joe, Dylan & Reed (Reed’s still in his momma’s belly)

And just for fun (or to torture myself & the boys), I thought I would attempt to get a photo of Stephanie’s kiddos & Lincoln together. Lincoln looks a little confused. Oh well. We tried.

Lauren Kelly - Oh, can’t wait to see more! Love the picture with the kids together!!! :)September 17, 2010 – 2:59 pm

First Flight & A Sneak Peek

I’ll be taking Lincoln on his first flight this weekend! We are headed up to Charleston, West Virginia, to visit some dear friends and photograph a couple of portrait sessions. I’ll be out of the office until Wednesday, September 15. Let’s hope my little guy likes to fly and I don’t become “that” mom with the screaming baby.

I’ll leave you with a little sneak peek of Amanda & David’s wedding. The photos below were taken at the lovely Windermere Club.

Jenni - What, no sneak peek of their FABULOUS wedding party?? ;)September 9, 2010 – 8:35 pm

Christmas Mini Sessions

Is it just me or does it feel like this year has flown by? I can’t believe I’m posting this, but it’s time for Christmas Mini Sessions! I’m really excited to be offering some amazing new Christmas cards this year. I’ll be offering 4 Mini Sessions on 2 separate dates, so there will be a total of 8 sessions. Unless we’ve already spoken about a separate appointment for you this fall, these will be the only Christmas sessions I’ll be booking. My calendar is crazy this fall, so I just won’t be able to do a separate, full session for everyone. Plus, Mini Sessions save you some moolah, which we can all use more of around the holiday season!

Here are the details:

Mini Session Day 1 – Saturday, September 25, 2010

Downtown Mount Dora

5:00pm-6:30pm (Total of 4 sessions available scheduled on the half hour)

Mini Session Day 2 – Sunday, October 3, 2010

Downtown Mount Dora

4:30pm-6:00pm (Total of 4 sessions available scheduled on the half hour)

Includes:

– {20-30 minute session}

– {10-15 images posted online for you to choose from}

– {50 amazing Christmas cards with envelopes}

– {1-8×10 0r 2-5×7’s}

$200 plus Florida sales tax

How to Book:

Email me at heidimitchellphotography@gmail.com or message me via Facebook. Let me know which time slot you would prefer, and I’ll let you know if it’s available. Due to some issues with last minute cancellations last year, I’m going to ask that a $50 deposit be left to officially reserve your session. Can’t wait to see some familiar faces for these Mini Sessions and hopefully meet some new families too!

And now what you’ve all been waiting for……The beautiful cards! You can choose from 5 different designs. Also, you choose whether or not you want a flat 5×5 card or a round ornament card that your loved ones can hang on their tree.

Alyssa: Newborn

Oh, how I love newborns and newborn sessions. It’s definitely one of the perks of my job! I’ve known Alyssa’s mom & dad for a long time, and I was absolutely honored to be asked to take her newborn photos. She is such a beautiful little baby. Let me tell you, my heart ached when I saw her closet full of  tiny dresses! I love my little boy to pieces, but I would love to have a little sister for Lincoln one day. For now, I’ll just have to get my baby girl fix through Alyssa. I’m looking forward to photographing her throughout her first year!

And as a side note, Alyssa’s mommy is a great baker, so check her out if you need cakes or cupcakes for a special event! I’ll be enjoying some of her yummy cupcakes at my brother’s wedding this fall ;)

Love this!

I’m pretty sure there’s nothing more adorable than a little baby bottom.

Andrea is such a beautiful momma! She looks amazing and Alyssa is only 2 weeks old!

Lauren Kelly - Heidi, these pictures are so great!!! Andrea looks so great and Alyssa is just gorgeous!!!!September 1, 2010 – 3:21 pm
