{Isabella} 7 Months

I love it when clients keep having me come back to document their babies lives. I met this sweet family when Isabella’s older brother, Zion, was just a few months old. I’m lucky enough to have had the opportunity to interact with this family enough that Zion recognizes me now. And Isabella’s mommy is an Etsy addict like myself, so I know I can count on her to have adorable outfits and accessories every time I come over!

Here’s Isabella’s 7 month portraits and a few with her family. Can’t wait to see this baby girl at her 12 month session!

{Save our Home} Etsy Love

If I’m being honest, I can admit that I have an addiction….to shopping. There’s nothing like a little retail therapy for the soul. The Internet has only caused more issues for those of us with this addiction because we can shop right from our desks or couches or iPhones. You know you’ve shopped online way too much when you realize that you have your 16-digit card number, expiration date AND the 3-digit security code of your debit card memorized.

Another terrible set back for those of us who love shopping a little too much was the invention of Etsy. I mean, seriously, have you ever seen so many cute things in one place? The only drawback to Etsy is that it’s so huge now, it can be overwhelming. Well fear not, fellow shoppers. I’ll help you find some of the most adorable things out there.

This morning I came across Save Our Home’s Etsy shop, and I’m still cleaning the drool from my desk ;) I would love to be the proud owner of one of these oh-so-cute clutches or change purses. I thought you might enjoy taking a look too.

While I’m happy to report that I mostly have my shopping addiction under control, it’s still fun to do some window, er, screen shopping sometimes. So without further ado, here’s my most recent Etsy find.

Look at all the cute things I found in their shop!

{Jenna & Alex} Wedding

Jenna is one of those clients that I just immediately “clicked” with. We sat and talked for almost two hours the day we met to discuss her wedding. We talked about the wedding and photography, but we also talked about life, her adorable niece & nephew & my baby-on-the-way. She’s incredibly fun, and after meeting her, I couldn’t wait to meet Alex and photograph their wedding!

Jenna & Alex’s love is sweet and makes you feel kind of warm & fuzzy watching them interact. They both shed a few tears during the ceremony, shared kisses throughout the day, and they’re just the kind of couple that make me love my job!

I’m so happy for you both, and just want to say “thank you” for having me as a part of your gorgeous wedding.

Check out Jenna’s adorable UCF garter. Not only did they both graduate from UCF, but Alex played football for the Knights and is now one of the coaches! So obviously, a UCF garter was perfect!

Hello, fabulous shoes.

The chapel at Trinity United Methodist in Gainesville is so cute!

Jenna was a gorgeous bride! And how about those flowers? So pretty.

In the true fashion of a coach, Alex gives a high five on the way out of the chapel ;)

LOVE these.

It was my first time at Jolie’s. What a beautiful reception venue!

Bri Snell - I want her dress. :) Amazing.November 24, 2010 – 3:45 am

Jenna Thompson - Heidi, we love these sooo much and can’t wait to see the rest of them! Thank you so much for capturing our big day so beautifully!!!November 6, 2010 – 1:48 pm

Stephanie - I love these so much! Stunning couple and beautiful photography.November 5, 2010 – 7:03 pm

{Boo!} Personal

I hope everyone had a fun weekend with their families. We’re still in the fun “firsts” phase where everything we do with Lincoln is his first time. So for his first halloween, I decided to make his costume. Poor guy. It’s just the first of many times that his momma with embarrass him!

Besides having a night with Lincoln in his costume, we also went on the Mount Dora Ghost Walk. It was pretty entertaining to say the least. We got to hear lots of stories of supposed ghosts and haunted buildings. Thankfully , there were no stories about my office building ;)

Here are a few photos of my little baby octopus! What did you & your family do together this past weekend? I’d love to hear!

Checking out his costume. Not too sure about it.

Steff - Cutest 10-legged octopus ever.November 4, 2010 – 3:31 am
