It was monsooning my entire drive over to New Smyrna Beach. (Monsooning may not be a word to Mr. Webster, but i think it’s completely appropriate in certain situations.) Rain is not what you want to see on your way to photograph a beach wedding. It was not looking good for an outdoor ceremony. Thankfully the beautiful condo where the reception was being held had a f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s penthouse that was not occupied and the owners offered to let the ceremony take place there. A sure sign that rain really is good luck on your wedding day! The ceremony was gorgeous, and the sun made a late day appearance just in time for some super wonderful beach photos with the bridal party.
Lori and Seth, your wedding was one of my all time favorites! Not only were you two amazing to photograph, but there was so much love present during your day that it was almost tangible. I loved being a part. And I’ll never forget your hilarious and adorable flower girl asking Mike is he was a super hero ;) That has become a classic in our family.
Happy 1 year anniversary! (Or 1 year and 2 weeks I guess. This post is slightly overdo.) You guys deserve lots and lots of love and happiness. So glad you are back in Florida, and I’m hoping to run into you soon :)
