{Herbert & Lisa} Mount Dora Wedding

It’s always fun to get to photograph the wedding of friends. Herbert & my hubby have been friends for 25 years, so Herbert & his family are like family to us. I loved getting to be a part of Lisa & Herbert’s big day. There’s nothing like photographing a wedding where two people are truly in love and just so happy to be together. I think everyone in attendance could feel the love.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Stephanie - I love the “you may now kiss your wife” picture. Looks like they are so happy. Great job, girl!March 19, 2012 – 10:57 pm

Caimbrin - Beautiful photos of a beautiful couple! Congrats! You guys look so happyMarch 19, 2012 – 9:16 pm

{Mindy & Erik} Duncan House Maternity

We did Mindy’s maternity session at the gorgeous Duncan House in Tavares. Every time I’m there, I wish I could just move in! Erik & Mindy are expecting their first baby in just a few short weeks. They are waiting until he or she is born to find out if baby is a boy or girl. What a wonderful surprise!

Mindy’s grandmother gave her this beautiful necklace.

Favorite!

These were Erik’s baby booties! He obviously wasn’t born in Florida :)

Erin M - Just precious!! Love the one with the cross necklace!February 21, 2012 – 10:34 pm

{Lisa & Herbert} Lakeridge Winery Engagement

I just love this couple so much. Herbert is my husband’s best friend. They’ve been friends since the first grade, so Herbert & his boys are very special to Mike & me. We could not be happier for these two. We have quickly grown to love Lisa, and are looking forward to a beautiful wedding and many more years of friendship!

We headed out to Lakeridge Winery in Clermont for their engagement session. It’s very pretty there, even though we didn’t realize just how not-green the vines would be this time of year. Thankfully the whole place is picturesque, so there were plenty of spots for photos outside of the actual vineyard. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. Can’t wait for their wedding this spring!

Pretty sure these two could be models ;)

They like to save the corks from bottles of wine that they enjoyed on special occasions. Fun, right?

And my absolute FAVORITE.

stephanie - My favorite is the one where they look like they are sitting on the bush. Such pretty lighting. Great job…they really look in love. so sweet!January 13, 2012 – 1:37 pm

{Emily} 18 Months

It would be an understatement to say that I’ve neglected my poor blog. I have been doing portrait sessions and a few weddings, but just haven’t gotten around to blogging them. Our family has been going through a difficult time right now. My husband is in need of a kidney transplant, and his health issues have kind of turned our lives upside down for the moment. You can keep up with our family’s journey over on my personal blog. I am still working as much as possible, but thought my blog readers deserved an explanation as far as the blogging absence goes. I’m still booking jobs, and I’m very excited about my 2012 weddings next spring & summer. Thanks for understanding!

I photographed sweet little Emily recently. She is such a lovely baby girl. Her bubbly personality reminds me a lot of my Lincoln. I’ve been photographing her since she was just a few months old, and I always love seeing her and her momma.

stephanie - This little girl is a beauty! Her smile is infectious…could help but smile looking at it. The pictures are beautiful, especially the first few. I can’t get over how many good pictures you got of an 18 month old. crazy.December 12, 2011 – 1:27 pm
