{Tiffany & Jeff} Engagement

I met Tiffany when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding I photographed. She came up to me & said, “You’re going to photograph my wedding!” So I said that sounded great and asked her if she was engaged. “Not yet. We’re working on that”. She’s hilarious. It was even funnier when she introduced me to Jeff later by saying, “Jeff, I want you to meet our wedding photographer”. Well, Jeff came through and I got an email from Tiffany just a month or so later telling me they were engaged.

This couple is one of those couples that I just clicked with right away. They are super fun, lighthearted, & totally in love. Their wedding is right around the corner this fall, and I can’t wait to see these two again :)

Summer Lovin’

I haven’t forgotten that I have a blog, it’s just summertime! Last summer I had a newborn, and therefore spent the entire season hidden inside. This summer I vowed to spend lots and lots of family time. I have a few sessions over the next month, but I’m also taking plenty of time off. Lincoln and I are loving our days together. We’ve been logging many hours at the pool, park & beach.

{Amber & Michael} the reception

This was definitely one of my favorite weddings ever. I’m a little behind on blogging, so I’m just now getting to post the reception. The venue was the amazing Honey Lake Plantation. Amber did a beautiful job bringing the decor and details all together. Nothing was matchy matchy, and I loved that.

The porch at Honey Lake was the perfect setting for their relaxed Southern style.

Love that she used some of their engagement photos as decor at the wedding!

Loved the bird cages and bird houses.

Scripture on the guest book.

Michael is a drummer, so Amber had his groom’s cake made as a snare drum. So cute.

The amazing lighting team from Kaleidoscope helped create some ambiance in the room. It’s crazy how much a little lighting can change the entire room.

{Emily} One Year

This little beauty is one week older than my Lincoln. I started photographing her when she was 4 months old. She is not only gorgeous, but she’s not lacking in the personality department either! It’s always fun to see Emily & her family. Looking forward to her 18 month session later this year!
