Krisie and Kyle: Wedding

I spent Saturday with some amazing people, Krisie and Kyle. Krisie and I graduated from high school together, so it was pretty special to get to photograph her wedding! The weather was amazing. It was one of those days that makes you love living in Florida. I met up with the girls in a suite at the Waterfront Inn to get a few photos of them getting ready. Then we headed off to the gorgeous Church on the Square in The Villages.
Krisie and Kyle’s wedding was one where you really sense how much the people around them love them. I mean, every bride and groom is surrounded by the ones that love them on their wedding day, but some weddings just feel different. Their parents and friends were tearing up before the ceremony even began. There was just no doubt that they have such an incredible group of people that love and support them. There were also several references to the fact that they were finally getting married after 10 years! I say if you can date for 10 years, then you should have no problem being married for a long time. If you’ve known someone that long and still love them, then your chances are pretty good :)
Krisie and Kyle, thanks so much for letting me be a part of your wedding. You two have such a sweet relationship. Your wedding was fun, sweet, sentimental, and everything a great wedding should be.
Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
The amazing Larri Mattison from Synergy Salon Spa helped make Krisie a gorgeous bride. (Synergy is where I get my hair cut, too! They’re amazing!)

Brylee made such a sweet flower girl :)

If you know me, you know that I fight back tears at every wedding. It never fails. Usually this happens during the vows, but this time it started early when Krisie’s dad got all choked up while giving her away. I had to hide my damp face behind my camera!

Kyle’s mom during the ceremony. (more tears started coming when I saw her crying!)

The wedding party!

Lovely ladies

The courtyard outside of the church is awesome

These are my FAVORITES!!! Love these!
The DJ for the reception was Ron Redd from Accent Entertainment.
He also did the lighting which was beautiful.

Check out these party animals!

There was a very special dance at the reception. The DJ played the song The Woman in My Life by Phil Vassar. The first verse talks about the first woman in his life, his mom. So Kyle danced with his mom. Then the song talks about the next woman in his life, his wife, so Kyle danced with Krisie. The last verse talks about his daughter, so Kyle danced with his little girl. It was a really sweet moment.

Kyle giving instructions on where the garter should be placed. LOL.

The last dance with lots of bubbles!

The sparkler exit!

Heidi Mitchell - I’m glad you like them, Beth! If it makes you feel any better, I feel like I always stand out in pictures for being the shortest! LOLMarch 3, 2009 – 11:46 pm

Anonymous - The pics are great evenhough I am one of the tallest and I stand out. I am one of the bridesmaids. This was one of the best and most fun wedding that I have been to. Kyle and Krisie looked great as they always do. My husband and I were very honored to be a part of their special day.
