I’m Heidi. I’m a lot of things. A wife, mommy, photographer, business owner, lover of cupcakes and sprinkles . I fell in love with photography on a trip to Russia when I was 15. It was my first time in Europe, and everything looked like the perfect photograph to me. I took hundreds of photos. After returning from that trip it occurred to me that photography could be more than just my new passion. It could be my future career. I started taking darkroom classes at my local community college. I know this it totally cliche, but seeing the image magically appear on the paper as I swished the chemicals around in the darkroom was all it took to get me hooked. I decided I was going to be a photographer, and I’ve never looked back.

I studied at the amazing Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I earned an AS in Photography, and I later completed my BS in Photography at the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies at UCF.
